Recently granted a jump trainers licence, Lucy Jones becomes the latest National Hunt racehorse trainer to emerge from the Welsh point to point circuit.
Lucy sent out her first runner in January 2011 and before the year was out saddled 7 winners and numerous placings (out of 53 runners, 49% have been placed in the first four) from just a handful of horses.
Over the 3 seasons prior to obtaining a public licence, supported by husband Simon, Lucy achieved a 58% strike rate of winners to runners in point to points, with all horses trained having won a race.
Cleddau Racing is situated at Prettyland Farm, a 155 acre holding in the heart of the South Pembrokeshire countryside overlooking the Cleddau Estuary.
